After working with Italian sculptor Gianpietro Carlesso , and noting the quality of his work, Alex Roe and Gaetano Salvo decided that the world needed to know more about contemporary Italian artists and their work - hence Italy is in .

Although Alex Roe and Gaetano Salvo, the founders of this site, are looking for artists who may be interested in using Italy is in’s Gallery to display their works, there will also be features about artists, exhibitions and any other art related event in Italy. Visitors may simply like to browse the works on display in the Gallery . Wherever possible large photographs will be used in an attempt to reproduce the experience of visiting a gallery.

• the name of the work that interests you ,

and we will contact the artist concerned on your behalf. Please note that although purchasers are responsible for all transport and insurance costs, if requested Italy is in can make transport arrangements, either using a reputable firm, or a firm recommended by the artist concerned.

Architect or Interior Designer?

If you are an architect or interior designer, who is looking for something original to enhance a project or perhaps you wish to commission or licence work from one of the artists on this site, then please contact us and we can arrange an initial meeting with the artist concerned, and, for a small fee, help out if you do not know Italian, or if the artist concerned does not speak English.

In cases in which artists are interested in licensing their work, this will be noted on the ‘Artists Profile’.
